Hi

I am an june applicant got married on 21st oct 2013 informed cpp ottawa about marriage. They send me instruction to send documents to add my spouse to my application on 6th November 2013.

I also got RCMP request did RCMP on 2nd december and informed CPP.

Today is 5th December i am still waiting for my spouse birth certificate.
I am trying to send documents ASAP but i want to know is there will be any problem if i will send application after 1 month of i got CPP instructions on 6Th november. They didnot given any timeline to submit these documents

Hopefully i will submit her file on 10th December 2013.

Please advice

if cpp-ottawa gave you 1 month you have to reply within the time given to you,if you need more time email them and inform that your wife's documents are not ready yet and you need more time.
if you just ignore them and wait until you get your wife's birth certificate you may risk getting your application refused due to not acknowledging cic in time.
a simple email from you will solve the problem,do it asap.
good luck :)

They didnot given any timeline to me. I am just curious that its 1 month after i inform and still donot have full documents .

They never given any time to me.

All documents are ready except police clearance for my spouse. I informed cic on 5th November 2013 and got request for spouse documents on 6th November 2013.
There was no timline but its 1 month now i have her all docs still waiting for
police clearance.
What to do.

I'm sorry but please read the responses you got above - this is not a complicated situation
You have 3 options
1) write to CIC to let them know you are waiting on your wife's PCC
2) send everything else and put in a note that the PCC will follow
3) wait for the PCC to come through and send everything together

If there is no timeline request from CIC then I don't really know what the fuss is about?

You can submit all documents as attachments , except for pcc and photos. Pcc can be submitted later. For now, send the scanned copies if forms and documents to ottpilot email .

I did this - my processing went fine so far I.e got rprf, Meds for both of us, and ppr this week.
