I received my COPR earlier this month and I am trying to call IRCC on 1-888-242-2100 to set up an appointment to activate my PR. However, I am not getting the option to even hold and wait. Instead I am being told they are experiencing high volumes of calls and cannot transfer me and to hang up and try later. I have been trying since 8:30am and I understand they only open at 8am. Can someone advise me when is the best time to call them? I have a family emergency that I may need to go home for after this coming Thursday, before I can activate my PR but I also have a wedding to go home to in October and dont want to mess up my activation :/ any help appreciated.
