acquiring non resident status

Hi

For acquiring non resident status, I understand I need to sell home, close bank accounts etc.

But for stopping universal, child care payments, stopping health cards etc. do I need to go any where or
it can be done over the phone? Do I need to be in country ?

My licesne will automatically go when I acquire US license.Do I need to do anything else?

No, you don't have to sell your home and close bank accounts, etc. Read the cra website again! There are info about uccb as well.

For health cards, you need to contact your provincial health authorities.

Make sure your wife and dependent children are leaving Canada or you might still be consider tax resident.
