Has anyone received an acknowledgment letter from CIC? My credit card was charged. Does it mean the application was accepted?

Has anyone received an acknowledgment letter from CIC? My credit card was charged. Does it mean the application was accepted?

If your credit card was charged, it is likely to mean that your application got accepted toward the 5000 cap. As to when to get a letter of acknowledgement, there have been a couple of posts that got told by CIC call centre that they won't give out such letters until 2-3 months time.
