i want to know how true is it, that accra has improve on their timing.if it no longer takes 8months.

Yes, it seems to have gotten a lot faster lately. One forum member got his PR visa very quickly, and two others got their interview dates 2 months or less after their application was received.

My brother-in-law works for the British Home Office in Abuja where they process UK immigration. He said he has heard that CIC Accra has added extra agents to cut down their processing times.

Seems to have worked! Our application was sent to Accra on June 22, they started working on it on June 28 and by July 5 we had received an email with an interview date of August 24.

mogreen got his wife's visa after just 1 month of processing in Accra. They got the app on May 28, her interview was June 29 and she got the visa the same day.
