What do you mean when you say he is in the process of getting a work permit? Has his potential employer secured an LMIA? Of he has applied for a closed work permit how does he know it will be approved? Is his wife and children already in Canada Oreo they already have visas and permit? Maybe you mean they want to accompany him if he is granted a WP.
