G Day folks,

The Canadian Immigration on their website state that "You must include the original letter with your study permit application" can the original letter
be in the form of a print out of a scanned original acceptance letter??

The school that am planning to go has given me two options to send me my Acceptance letter.
1. the actual hard copy through UPS courier ($150 :()
2. scanned copy through E-mail. (which I would have to print and use it along with my visa application)

although a scanned copy through E-Mail would save me the courier cost, but am quite skeptical if the embassy would accept a print out of a scanned acceptance letter.

PS -I'll be applying in India. Delhi embassy.

Has anyone opted for the second option?? If yes did you face any problems??

kindly share your input on this.
Thank you.

Dude - no offense, if you don't bring your original acceptance letter because it will cost you $150 dollar, you should not come to Canada to study. This is the most important of all most importance documents.

Now you think about your question. Once again, no offense pls

Scanned and printed admission letter would server you mate. dont worry, there are so many things in between. some students dont even get the admission letter for months. so what they do is to ask for the scanned copy form college/uni and send a printed loa with the application

SO IN MY OPINION YOU SHOULD ASK FOR THE SCANNED ONE, Y SHOULD YOU SPEND THIS MONEY WHEN YOU CAN GO THROUGH WITH A SCANNED FORM.

@ sting, man this is not the way to help someone. you should give someone a better idea rather than mocking at someone

Hi,

1. Agreed. Your scan/photocopy of LOA via mail/fax to the concerned CHC shall serve the purpose. CHC require ONLY "factual information" about your candidature/admission to cross verify the same.

Hello,,

what are the documents that should be/should not be copied and sent to the embassy?

Thank you,

Thanks to all the members for their valuable inputs/suggestions.

Does hiring a consult help in any way, I have come across people who have suggested not hire one as it would only lower the luck.
