Sucks to be us . Is your school starting in person?
Yes. My university is saying if you have not got visa up till mid Aug. better to defer in winter intake.

Ok sounds reasonable

for me there is no January intake, it’ll be sept 2022.
My first semester is online though for fall 2021

Seriously. Hopeless situation. I am trying continuously calling Abu Dhabi embassy but no one is picking up call in person.

Well why did you not apply on U.S university if you are living there?

What does this silence from VOs refer to?

They are busy in packing tons of results to dispatch?
They do not have enough time to check/respond emails/telephone call considering the August 6 as deadline?
They are usually lazy and they do not care for anyone?

All of the above seems true

Hey guys I previously studied my bachelors in Canada but took a gap year back home because of covid. I am planning on applying for a study permit again but the processing time looks like a nightmare. Is it true that the processing times are much shorter if the applicant previously had a study permit in Canada? Thanks
