Anyway, still I did not receive any msg from VFS today (to pick up passport). But I got email from CIC that my application was updated.

Me too!! I did receive the email from CIC yesterday (26th Feb) for the approval and just this morning (27th Feb) another email for update -- found out that COPR is waiting in my CIC account.

God is good!! I am liking these little surprises, while waiting for passport.

I accidentally tore the top part of my COPR (just the top left of the first bar code is torn - rest of the document is fine). I have emailed the Abu Dhabi VO for a replacement and also done a case specific inquiry through the web link. But no response yet. It's been 26 working days! Anyone know what else I can do to get a response from them?

Which visa office processed your file? You may send them an email. In my case, London Visa Office (LVO) handled my application, but visa was stamped in AUH. The Officer from LVO has been nothing but great in responding to my queries.

I also applied from VFS Qatar on 12th Feb, I saw message on CIC as approved today i.e 28th Feb.
When do you think they will dispatch the passport and how many days it will take to come to doha.

That was quick. Your passport was dispatched today or it will either be dispatched tomorrow. From there it will take 5 days for you to get it in Doha according VFS.
