Abu Dhabi PRTD processing time

I mean why they r processing the online application for the Prtd and not the one sent through vfs 10 months ago?

Did you have a regular PRTD request while clearly meeting Residency Obligation or did you apply under Humanitarian and Compassionate HnC grounds? Applying on HnC grounds can take much longer than a regular PRTD application from my understanding.

i applied on HnC . i understand it takes longer . any idea how much longer ??? its been almost a year since i applied. its really difficult to face the uncertainty. HnC doesn't mean there is no urgency to move to Canada.

@MN11 It does take around about that long for HnC Considerations.. What's scary is looking at their processing times for HnC Cases on the IRCC website which says 26 months!

I'd suggest to buckle up and wait, and be ready for any decision.

I have applied for PRTD on H&C grounds for my family in Oct 2022. So far no reply, I have read in our groups that H&C cases from Indian VAC takes around 6 months. But not sure about IRCC abu Dhabi. Has anyone got any update ?

No, all applications actually are sent back to IRCC no matter where you make the application. H/C is the only way you will get approval when short of RO.

If you have access to US, you should not apply PRTD with H/C at all. Going through land PoE will be much better
