Dear all,

For all who have had an interview in the Abu DHabi Embassy under the skilled worker category, can you please share your experiences about:

1 - Who was responsible for Scheduling the interview (London or AUH)
2 - Method of confirming attendence - Sent to CHC London or AUH?
3 - During the interview were there any specific questions/issues the officer was looking for relevant to individual cases, or were they general questions?
4 - Did the officer give an indication on the spot of the decision?
5 - What is the time period between interview and decision?

Any experiences would be helpfull

Dear all,

For all who have had an interview in the Abu DHabi Embassy under the skilled worker category, can you please share your experiences about:

1 - Who was responsible for Scheduling the interview (London or AUH)--London is responsible for scheduling and will inform you if you need to attend one.

2 - Method of confirming attendence - Sent to CHC London or AUH?--Confirmation is sent to London as they are in charge of you case.

3 - During the interview were there any specific questions/issues the officer was looking for relevant to individual cases, or were they general questions?---We didn't have any general questions, personal questions based on your case, usually the reason why you were called for an interview. We had a change of name that needed clarifying and they needed a little more info on Uni degrees but we had more than the reqired points so all was good.

4 - Did the officer give an indication on the spot of the decision?--As a matter of fact he told us our case had been approved right then but we still had to wait for results from the medical. This was sent a week later.

5 - What is the time period between interview and decision?---For us, interview was in Oct. Visas in Jan.

Any experiences would be helpfull--The officer was very friendly and professional, we were out in about 15-20 mins.

@ jjadel - Did you go for the interview after having done your medicals, or did attend you medical exam after the interview?
