Absences from canada

Hi ,

i am filling out application form for renewal and i have the following question:

for declaring travels and absences from Canada, if I for example traveled to my home country and then stayed there for 3 month and during these 3 months i traveled to another country as well.

when filling out absences do i need to list all the countries i traveled to? because the list becomes very long ( I hope you know what i mean)

i would like to declare that i was away from Canada in my home country for example for 3 month during which i traveled to other countries. this does not really change the number of days i was absent from Canada.


please share you experience.

if u ask me, i will say yes although i am not an authority - because CIC will end up checking every single stanp of your passport and compare to your trips ouside...so it will help them to know which stamps were done while you are declaring you were outside....
