I just got accepted into a Master's program at Ryerson University and am going to apply for my Student Visa, and when checking the options for having an Open Work Permit for my husband to accompany me, I get stuck, because in the Work Permit application (application from outside of Canada) they ask to give future employer's details and for an offer of employment, this is confusing because isn't it supposed to be an Open Work Permit? I don't have those details right now.
So right now I don't know if applying for my Student Visa and for him a TRV and once in Canada apply for the Work Permit, however that would take weeks for him to get an answer. I'm just looking for the best time-saving way for him to obtain his Open Work Permit.
Any clarification on the matter will be greatly appreciated.
