About ''Medicals have been received''

Does this mean that the medical VO in Ottawa received results from the DMP or does it mean that the VO in charge of the application has received the review/decision of the VO in charge of medicals?
I hope my question is clear ;D

because in the first case it does not tell anything about whether one successfully passed medicals, whereas in the second case it would mean that one successfully passed medicals...

based on the fact that my medicals were received by ottawa on 12th( DMP gave me the tracking number ) and my status changed to Medicals received yest ,I would say that this means they have already accessed the results ,weather ok or not we will know based on the next request ...

Does any one how how long does it take for the ecas to be updated with medicals received.
I did my Upfront medicals in Sep 2015 and still the ecas status is not updated :-\

oh da Fk. For real?
I have heard 3 days, 7 days, 2 weeks and now half a year. Don't know which one is true.
What if upfront medical not received by CIC, and VO rejects application for not being able to 'complete' MR in 30 days of deadline? This would be so unfortunate.
I will wait for my 2 weeks, if ECAS doesn't show my upfront medical received I will just do another medical with the same doctor. Fk Dis Sht
