Hey everyone.

I am a 18 year old guy from Denmark who is in college and will finish my IT Supporter education summer 2016.

When I am done I want to move to Canada for atleast 6 months.
I would preffere a year though.

I am looking for what is called a Working Holiday kind of thing.
Where I have a part time or maybe full time job that will fund most of my expenses if not all while I am in Canada.

I want to do a little Gem prospecting too so I would go for getting a place in Ontario.
Cant do any of that in small Denmark.
All we have is Clay.

What options do I have?
How much money should I have with me at the minimum?
Got any advice for me in general?

Any tips and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Full details about the Working Holiday Visa program can be found on the CIC web site:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/iec/

For what you want to do, the Working Holiday Visa is the best option (probably the only option at this time). The site above lists the eligibility for this program (for example, you will need to show a balance of at least $2,500 to be accepted).
