You can't just come and join.

You must apply for it.
 
As long as you can prove to the visa officer that you have sufficient financial capability to support yourself and your family member without working in Canada during the duration of your study. One more thing to consider is that, you should not give the visa officer any doubt on the bona-fides on your application as a student.
 
Hi..how many funds i require ? and can i also apply work permit Visa in the same time when my wife will apply for study Visa? and what is probability of rejection my visa ? Thanks.
