Out of the four jobs X has done so far, he has mentioned the NOC's of the two jobs for which he intends to claim the points, but NOC's of the other two jobs which were irrelevant has not been mentioned. How good are the chances that X's application will be accepted !

Well I am not sure about the approval or rejection of application, however what I can interpret from the above information is it might create a discrepancy impression about "X".As, suppose the total period he was employed for these jobs was 2 years.Obviously he would have to declare that period on application forms in the Background Declaration section as employed. If he has not reported that period during his employment history section ,it might create doubt in the mind of IO regarding the authenticity of the information provided.

Just my 2 cents!

Probably I couldn't put it right......all the four jobs have been listed in the form, but since the job responsibilities of only two match with a certain NOC out of the mandatory NOC list,...so only that NOC has been written against those two jobs while the rest of two jobs though mentioned on the form but their respective NOC's (which are not part of mandatory NOC list ) have not been written. Hence there stands no chance of any discrepancy, but its just an omission by mistake:(
Is this mistake tolerable, and how likely is that such an application will be accepted!

Well that is something totally different. If X has mentioned those two jobs on the forms, only the corresponding NOC codes are not mentioned as they are not relevant to one s specific NOC .I do not see any problem in this regard. In my view, it should not have any effect on one s application .However,if X wants,he could send a letter/email/fax to the IO ,explaining the mistake.Although,in my personal opinion ,it is not required.

You have to account for your entire work history for the past 10 years (regardless of NOC).

You have to then state (on the appropriate forms) which jobs are applicable to the NOC list. You will only get points for the jobs that are applicable (even though you had to also state the jobs that were not applicable)

Again, all job history without any break is mentioned regardless of the NOC's, has also put the applicable NOC's out of the recent mandatory NOC list BUT didn't mention the NOC's against rest of the two jobs for which he is not claiming the exp points.....is it fatal or may be overlooked !

@ newcomer - are you sure it won't matter much !

Hasni, what i understand is that you are trying to say, X Applicant listed two of his jobs in the schedule 3 Economic classes form but did not enter the corresponding NOC code for the two jobs and left it blank as it was not in the list of 24 Eligible NOC for fsw2013. so you want to know whether his application will be accepted or not by the cic for not filling the NOC code for his irrelevant two jobs.

these 2 job experiences will simply be ignored. This is not the basis of rejecting the application because you're meeting the basic eligibility of "have worked in the list of 24 eligible occupations".

Sachin, have you seen Marta's rejection letter, in the checklist Appendix C it was mentioned to include the appropriate four digit NOC code for each of your specified work experiences.
