Hi,
Although I am little far from medicals stage but still out of curiosity I need to ask one question.I have read at another forum a question asked by some other applicant who is a chronic patient of hypertension , have undergone medical test recently and has been subjected to an ECG test for further investigation.
Although the applicant claims to be in good health and his blood pressure was controlled with the help of medicines.
Now my question arises as I am also hypertensive from the last few years ,taking regular medicines and my BP is controlled with no problem at all.I need to know from all hypertensive applicant, who have undergone medicals,is an ECG test a must for hypertensive patients or the above mentioned case s an exception,as further investigations such as ECG can cause delays and more complications such as in this case in which the applicant was advised to see a cardiologist after ECG.Plz share your experiences ,who ve already done with the medicals.
thanks

hi....

if you are a hypertensive then you will necessarily get a ECG done and 1 or two extra blood to see whether BP has efffected any other organ of the body especially the kidney. If ECG shows changes then you will surely be sent to the cardiologist.

my spouse too had raised BP when the DMP examined him (though not very high thankfully). he told him the BP is high and he will need to get extra tests done. the rountine tests , x ray were undergone by me too. these tests were in addition to my tests.

The other thing you can do is to take medicine 8-10 hrs before going for medical, and your Bp should be normal. NO need to tell DMP that you are hypersensitive, it also depend how hypersensitive you are. I had a minor problem still i took medicine and went for test all went well. try to drink as much as water you can it wil help you reduce blood pressure and clear urine. The other thing u can do is to take two tablets disprin/asprin it will thin your blood and u will get no raise blood pressure.
