a question about use of representative. please help

i am living in dubai, but my case will be processed at new delhi
as i have filled all forms by myself what should i write in use of representative form? someone told me that u should fill your wife's name otherwise she cant submitt ur file on behalf of you,is that correct? please help

If you will not have a representative, then you don't need to submit this form.

If you make your wife the representative, then the visa office will likely be contacting her instead of you for anything they need, including your passport. If your wife is in New Delhi, then this would probably be useful. The same if for whatever reason you can't be at your mailing address to pick up your mail. But if she's in Canada, then you're better off dealing with New Delhi yourself.

You can write "Not applicable" in the column for use of a representative.
Delhi's processing is faster than Abu Dhabi (UAE).

No need to write not applicable, just don't submit it if you don't have a representative. Plain and simple.
