A newbie who wants to work at Canada

Hi all,

I'm Jef, from the Philippines, I just created my account a minute ago just to read reviews about the procedure on how to work at Canada. I registered through mercan canada agency through website and I don't know what are the opportunities waiting for me there. I would like to seek for everybody's help to which career I should get. I have my experiences here in the Philippines as:

1 year and 10 mos- Accounts Specialist
3 months- Selling Assistant
10 months- Assistant Store Coordinator

Also, I am looking for everyone's help on how I am going to be notified by the agency I sent my application with. Thank you, God bless!

Couple words of advice first is almost impossible to secure a job from outside Canada unless someone has unique skills not readily available in the country , unfortunately not so with your current skill set.

Second be very aware that there a lot people ready to scam potential immigrants by promising permits, visas and jobs for a fee yet there will be no job and usually the company does not exist. Scammers go as far as creating fake websites , creating phone numbers that appear as though they are calling from Canada when they are not and promising unrealistic salaries, airfares, accommodation and even free food.

Keep to the rule if looks too good to be true, say from an unsolicited email, then it is sure to be too good and fake.

Find your job title / duties here and if classified as 0,A or B that is a start as skilled

Focus on qualifying and applying to immigrate through an economic immigration program like Express Entry.

Forget about trying to find a job as a foreign worker so that you can apply for a work permit. It's effectively impossible to find employers who are willing to go through this process.
