Hi,

I am a Federal Skilled Worker but I got a job offer for a role in Montreal, Quebec. There are a few questions that have come up to my mind.

Before going to the questions, let me put the facts first.

a) I am a Japanese citizen living in Tokyo, Japan.
b) I got Permanent Residency under Federal Skilled Worker category and landed in Vancouver on 31st December 2011
c) I got a job offer for a role in Montreal, Quebec

My questions are:
1) Do I need a separate work visa to live and work in Montreal?
2) I have to maintain my residency requirements. Will my stay in Montreal be counted for the minimum 730 days requirement?
3) Should I choose to apply for Canadian citizenship later, will my stay in Montreal be counted for the minimum 1095 days requirement?

The answers to these questions are important to decide whether to accept the job offer.

I would be glad if someone could answer my queries.

Thank you
