A depend person can apply for express entry as main applicant?

I’ve landed in canada 16 month ago with my wife, she is studying here and I got open-work permit base on here visa and we’ve been living in Montreal, my question is can I apply for express entry as main applicant and wife would be a depend, my company is located in Toronto and I have plan to move there.

Just confirming that you didn’t live with your spouse in Montreal? Are you working for the same employer as in your home country?

We're living together in Montreal and I'm working for a company located in Toronto remotely.
