Hi guys..
I'm new to the forum...

I sponsored my wife for the application, we are both in Canada
I'm a Canadian citizen and my wife currently hold a valid open work permit

My wife's timeline is as follows

We received your application for permanent residence on December 30, 2011.

We started processing your application on September 18, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

so...what now? will cic send me a letter? either for an interview or something else? how long does this usually take?

thanks

A decision has been made! So no interview will be required now, they've made up their minds.

You'll get something in the post within the next couple of weeks (hopefully the confirmation of permanent residence with instructions for landing as PR)

Congrats, you're done!

Thanks.... hopefully it's that PR instruction that's gonna be in my mail soon
Usually, CIC will not reject/deny the application at this stage? Am I correct?

cautious optomsm ! :D

They normally request an interview to give people a chance before rejecting them and they make it clear that they have doubts about the application. If that hasn't happened to you and if your ECAS is showing a home address in the form of City, Province, Country, then congrats :)

My partner sees that on ECAS as well since it changed to "Decision Made"... Good to know! Nine days and counting.
