a date mistake in a letter of explanation

I made a mistake, wrote that a document was issued to me in 2021, but it actually was in 2020. The document and a translation don't have the mistake, but LOE has. Should I inform them somehow? May my application be returned because of that? Thanks.

Hello, this is a typo. I wouldn't worry about it. You have the document and the translation, those are official statements. They will not return your app for that. Maximum what they can do is to ask a clarification, which is unlikely. That is clearly a typo.
