A Call from the Embassy is counted as interview

Hi ,

last time i got a call from the embassy asking me certain questions is this interview or just cross check of my documents ????, and this call is initiated because my wife visited her PM in Canada and told them that she is pregnant and here due date is nearby she needs her husband to be with her.

so i am worried how things will go ?

seniors what do you think please advice.

This telephone call is not the interview.

so what it will be if it is not interview because she asked me a lot of things date of our mariage, when was the last time my was with me the due date of my wife, is she working or not, previously where she was working, am i working on the same company or not, when did i join this company and so on.

so i wonder why they are asking like this, so i doubt if this is the final stage for passport request or for calling interview ?????

Maybe they just wanted to confirm a few details to decide if they were going to request an interview or not. Each case if different so all you can do is wait and keep your fingers crossed

Sounds like an interview to me......these were the exact questions my spouse was asked at her personal interview. Though, she had close to a thousand questions!

I would say that was an informal interview, and hopefully they were satisfied with your answers and will not need a formal interview at the High Commission.

Friend I had the same case as you do.. The only difference is that I am now a Proud father!! haha
Dont worry all will be fine, My PR card did not come on he due date, but still I am praying for my visa to come, well hoping for a positive responce..
People say for immigration that " ALL CASES ARE DIFFERENT"
but I say that " ALL HAVE DIFFERENT LUCK"
