7 months and no answer..and I got two kids

i have a lawyer..applied dec2018 and still no answer?? What should I do?

Having kids and a lawyer doesnt speed up the process. Ircc has stated that 80% of apps will be processed with 12 months. Youve got some time to go

Nina not to scare you. But something to consider, are you sure your application was sent in? If so request the reciept number from the lawyer for the application. Even the courier tracking# Seems something aint right. 7 months????

Yes they did receive it because the other day they called her to ask more about his travel history so they did receive it.But she said the person that got ur application won’t even animal her and she put so many request in

Well your lawyer should have copies of your aor and sponsor approval . Both of those have uci and application numbers . I think you need to ask your lawyer for all copies of these letters ASAP

You know if the lawyer is legitimate and registered with ircc they are to provide you with all copies of correspondence . It sounds a little strange that someone you hired to represent you isn’t really doing that .
