I have done B.Com (regular) and M.Com (correspondece-2 years). My husband has done 12 years regular study + 1.5 years apprenticeship training in a hotel (not a degree or a certificate but an experience certificate). I have calculated my points as follows:-
Age - 10
IELTS - 12
Education - 25
Exp. - 21
Adaptability - 3 (Spouse)

Total - 71

Is it corrent. Please give your valuable advice

He needs to have 17 years (i think) of study to get 25 points with his M.Comm.
I am sure he spent longer than 12 years to get up to his M.Comm.

They ask for full time education and correspondence education or distance learning doesn't fall into full time education category(any other reason in case we assume they will accept your distance learning course still you will get 22 points for education as 12 years of schooling, 2 years B.Com and 2 years M.Com makes 16 years of schooling, which still drops to 22 points for education), btw it's my understanding may be seniors can correct it am just learning in my grasps.
So I think it will go like this
B.Com 22
Age 10
IELTS 12
Exp 21
Adaptability 0 (as apprenticeship is a on job training so doesn't count towards the education year as CA trainee experience counts towards work experience)[but if they do accept his high school diploma then you have three points+apprentice ship then you have 3 points)

You still get 65 in worst scenario.

In my opinion if you have equivalent 17 years of education, you get 25 points, doesn't matter correspondence or distance learning (if valid degree). For example if you took 3 years for 2 years master degree full time program, you get to add just 2 years of education even you took 3 years.

Your spouse (husband) 3 points is fine.

Yp, can't say without detail about other points you indicated.

i think there are people on here who have gotten 22 points because of their CA apprenticeship. They had 3 years BComm and 3 years certification. (maybe certification is what makes the difference).

I got this point from a friend, CIC London refused him as his MSc was from University of London External program MSc in Quantitative Finance, the letter mentioned that it doesn't count as he was in full time job not full time schooling, it was before the new system.

i am not sure how that works but here is what op6 says

A distance learning credential is eligible for points as long as it meets the definition of a credential
as outlined in R73. If the credential is not described in terms of number of years duration (i.e.,
three-year bachelor’s degree), officers should apply the definition of full-time equivalent study and
knowledge that the visa office has acquired on local education institutions and credentials.

what you said might not be wrong. i just can't comment on it becaue i dont know how CIC calculates points.

The OP should take what I wrote below and what Zulkfal wrote below and consider both.

It also could be the definition of full-time equivalent study. So if you study a one year MS degree over 2 years part time, then that would only count as 1 year.

Good luck all.

Friends,
Actually M.com is from delhi University, India. AND in degree nothing is mentioned that it is regular or correspondence. Education points i have calculated as follows:-

10th - 10
12th - 2
B.com - 3
m.com - 2
total 17 year. Further, will i be eligible for spouse 3 points. because condition is 12 years of continue education AND 1 years of certificate, diploma or apprenticeship training. Does he fulfil the condition. If not then i will have to again give my IELTS for gaining 16 points.

Please advice

In this case you are fine with 25 points for education, but not sure about your husbands qualification In my opinion its a no, but now you have 68 points so don't worry put him on if you got it you got it.
