6 yrs gap after studies possibility of student visa under spp category

Hi,
I did my diploma in hotel management in 2006. Now I would like to study in Canada for a year.
And it is a certification course from humber college . Can someone please tell me what are chances of getting student visa. My profileis:
10th : 51%
12 th: 70%
Diploma: first class
IELTS: 7.5
I have paid my entire tuition and planning to take a loan for the rest and it is now under
Process. I have worked consecutively after my studies for about three years in india and in a cruiseship until this may2012. Pls give me ur suggestions.....

If you provide the sufficient evidance that what you were doing during this gap like job/courses...... there will be no problem.....

As suggested by previous poster. u stand the chance,if you have solid reasons of applying for study visa to canada. You need to prove what u have been doing in the past 6yrs with documentary evidence. If u cld do this and u could prove that u have enough finance to pursue ur academic career in Canada,u will definitely get the visa. u may search on the forum for sample of SOP but remember each cases are quite different,so u need to apply d SOP as your story goes. Hi Mani.. I do need to write for myself also yet.. as i am in the process of searching colleges....

Acca247 is right try to get some samples on the forum and for SOP you should contact the studenst who are already there but your Ielts Score is superb like 7.5.. u showed your eligibility in the language already.... SOP should't be a problem...... U can either see some samples and can ask students who are already there!!
