6 weeks and 4 days until interview. Is there time to order CAIPS?

They didn't rush the processing but they did tell me when they started processing the request and when it was due to be completed. I called them on the due date to check whether they had processed it and requested immediate mail-out due to my upcoming interview. We got the notes two days later.

If you are in Canada, ordering yourself makes sense. it seems to take about 5 weeks whether you go through a company or ask yourself.

But if you're living abroad, then using a company that will email the notes to you saves a lot of international mailing time.

toby, I agree. I didn't even know there were third party businesses that did this until I did a google search for CAIPS. In our case, we are short on time, and sometimes mail takes up to a week from Ontario to Alberta (I have no idea why) so I thought it is best to save a few days and $30 was not too much more to pay.
