6 months after the file number date

Dear Fellow Members:

I applied through an agency and have all the necessary papers completed and submitted. My agency gave me a file number which was dated January 17, 2011.
I was told to wait for six months. It has been six months and I have not received any news on the status of my application. Is there a website where I can ask the status on my application online?

Can the embassy really process it in 6 months? or sometimes extended? I am in the Philippines.

Hoping someone can enlighten me. Thanks

Hi, just relax. Me among hundred and thousands waiting since last 14 months. So dont worry. You can check you ecase on below website. On this website (on right upper corner, you will find CHECK APPLICATION STATUS. Just click and do the rest needful

you can check your status with your file number in the following link. I am sure your application has been processed a long way, cause manila VO is really fast. check the status and inform us what is your status now.

Thanks to you logical & arman79, this is very helpful. If I look at the processing times, it only shows applications up to June 25, 2010. Does it mean those applications after that date has not been process yet?
