Hi,

I have a closed work permit for a duration of 2 years. I have been working for the employer named on the work permit for 9 months now on NOC 2173. I am unable to claim 50 points for valid job offer.
Appreciate any suggestions on this.

1. Can someone tell me if it is mandatory for aspirant FSW to have 1 year of Canadian work experience to qualify for the 50 points?

2. Does Indian work experience not count for FSW category?

3. If I do have to work for current employer for one year, how is FSW different from CEC?

Total Experience summary
a. Indian work experience - 5 years - NOC 2173
b. Canadian work experience - 9 months - NOC 2173

Can they claim those points if the employer was same in their previous country as well? If they are working for the same company and got transferred to canada?
