Impossible..!! this is over optimism!!

true that...even though the score falls down to 410 (if) on 8th draw...from there it will go down to 5-10 points max. we can guess the score may fall down to 350..in reality it will never happen. it sounds harsh but again its true. all we have to do just accepted the fact

I am at 398. With spouse ECA I will be at 408. Not sure if I should spend money on spouse ECA looking at the uncertainty.

If I apply as single applicant, my score bumps to 420. Can anyone advise If I apply as single candidate, what are the options to go with family in case if ITA is received? My understanding is that family can be sponsored only after you get PR status and may take years.

DO NOT go as a single applicant, if you're married... It can take years, but more importantly, you might get a ban if they find out you're married (because you'd be lying to them on record)

Go for the ECA, you've got a chance being above 400, 400 would be selected towards the year end hopefully... Furthermore, try to improve both of yours IELTS as well... Best of Luck ..

Thanks for response. Just to clarify, I am not intending to give false info :). If I select me as "married" and at the same time select accompanying spouse as "No" then my score goes to 420. So, I was exploring if there is a legitimage way around that I can go with spouse if given ITA and then apply for her PR separately.

I'm sitting on 447 points. Fingers crossed I hear something before my PGWP runs out at the end of August.....

make it 409 so i can get in ;D

Standing at 452. Finger crossed. BUUUUT, the 7th draw simply showed 925 new applicants with lowest score 469 joined the poll within 2 weeks. Simple maths is if CIC draws 1000 applicants every 2 weeks and they will hit the target of 25,000. Meanwhile, if high scoring applicants keep coming at this pace, I am gonna really need some luck here.

Please somebody prove me wrong.

I am at 451 following your answers from now. :P
