4 year cap for TFW

Guys,

First time I heard that we have only 4 year max to work in Canada as TFW!

I didn't get this ...I worked 3 year in open WP and now got LMIA based job for 2 year but CIC says they can give me only 1 year because of 4 year cap?

any idea?

Depends - what NOC skill level is your job. Is it NOC A or 0? If so, you're exempt from this rule.

Mine is B based on my LMIA. So I got only one year extension. Hope to get PR before it expires.

In that case it makes sense you were only given a one year extension.
