kimwayne,

you mean reciprocity between provinces in canada? like, when u r registered in toronto, can you practice the same in manitoba? is this what you mean?....yes, once registered in one province, you can also practice in another...what is required is only your experience from your previous employer/province from you were first registered, that is according to my friend who is now in Alberta.

you got that right!thank you. That's music to my ears.

Fellow nurses,

It is really quick to find job if you have the license. I passed the CRNE which I took last October 6 in Winnipeg. Two days ago I received e mail from the HR of the hospital who is hiring me, that my Labor Market Opinion has been approved by HRSDC. Soon I will be filing for a working visa. My PR application seems deeply asleep. Go for that license guys!!!God Bless Us All.

BET is really just an essay. There is no format to follow. You"ll basically just be asked to site an example, in essay form, as to how you will demonstrate your competency in a particular area/s of nursing. As in my case I received essay questions that goes "something like":

Site an example wherein you're able to demonstrate a strong problem solving skill/s in your nursing practice.

and so on and so on..

there were questions related to research, clinical skills, medical knowledge, continuing nursing education and technology and I can't remember the others as I don't have a copy saved in my computer.

aspire,

congrats!...that is an inspiration... ;D ;D
