Hi, I copy-pasted here the list of possible courses we need to take if we are to seat for the bridging program in CARNA (only), it could be 1 or more of these subjects depending on the result of our SEC, I'm not sure in CRNM :)

About working - i think yes, once we get our immigrant visas, we now have the rights to apply for any kind of job we are qualified for in Canada. (permission chrisdalop) look in the case of chrisdalop, he's now working as nurse attendant :D

@ chrisdalop - do you mind sharing how did you get into that job, did u applied personally or online? do we need to get a particular certificate/s to be qualified? I'm also interested to apply as nurse attendant while waiting for my SEC schedule and i'm sure ur advice will be very helpful to many. Thank you

for those who have query about the student loan, my colleague before was able to process such, im not really sure of the details but based on what she told me was that, it is vbery easy to apply for student loan from the government, they are very generous in giving you enough money for schooling and you could pay it after you get a job with very small amount of interest...

to sum it up, it was a good deal from the government and she said that it was easy to apply for...

I agree with sultanali.
and dear ya dinn't uploaded the crene guide /tests yet?

Lola

I think it is better if you wait for your IELTS result just to be sure you have achieved the required score. I know you can do it!.. but just the same they won't process it unless they have all the required docs.

okay i will then, thank you for the advice...

i just want to send my documents asap. cause we can't be sure by january there might be an increase in the registration... they keep increasing the fee and its not a small time increase, their increase are way up more than 100% so its really expensive...

No,but I consider it as one of my 3 top choices.Wow,i was really shocked with your info.Thank God it was not,but still Ielts scores like that for IEN is not good,I guess i had to take Acad as soon as possible.

chrisdalop,

Here is what my IQAS assesment says:

The combination of High School Diploma and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree generally compares to the completion of Grade Twelve, plus the completion of a three-year Bachelor's degree with a focus in nursing.

With this I was able to take the CRNE and just recently my RN has been approved. Do not worry, you will get the eligibility too. Focus more in your preparation.

IQAS received my application on November 15, 2009 and they were able to finish it on January 27, 2010. Initially after all the documents needed are received they will send you an acknowledgement letter and will tell you that the processing time is 3 months. But in my case they were able to finish it in 2 months time.

If I remembered it right you were from Saudi Arabia too, right? Please take note that during the CRNE eligibility application process CRNM did not ask for Saudi Police Clearance. I only submitted NBI clearance to CRNM and it was enough. But during the processing of my RN license, they were asking for both the NBI and Saudi police clearances.

Yes, hope to see you in Winnipeg. God Bless.
