After 11 months SRNA finally sent me an email with the checklist! SEnt my application Nov 2009. They are now asking me to send another copy of my birth certificate, Total RN hours, competency assessment declaration. Now im torn again! just when im sure about sending my application to Nova scotia next week or in 2 weeks, this comes up! Do you think they'll ask me to take SEC? How much will i spend if ive decided to take SEC just in case im asked to take it... and how long will it be?

Ive red somewhere that assessment fee in Nova Scotia will increase on Nov 1, by as much as $200! Guys, pls advice! Will i stick to SRNA or try my luck in Nova scotia while also waiting for saskatchewans decision??

My friend just landed in saskatchewan..she took the CRNE just this oct. i asked her about SEC. She doesn't even know anything about SEC. She was just made eligible to take the CRNE after assessment..She's also finished her BSN degree her in The Phil. she has more or less 4 years experience. :) I hope this helps.
