hi guys i am new to this forum. I sent my application july 1, 2011 but I did not include employment contract. I only included the Certificate of Employment. My consultancy agency only asked me to send COE. Did you guys pass employment contracts? thanks

Hi cksmg,

It is clearly stated in the checklist that employment contract is needed, however in case you cannot provide, a written explanation is needed to inform the CIO officer of the missing document. Just wait for the update on your application..

Hello Everybody,

I am new to this form. I am an RN from India applied for PR CHC ND. Sent passports June 1st 2011 to CHC ND and waiting for the Maple leaf.

Please help me start registering with the CNO. I have the initial application package with me. But I do not see any application number or anything on it. It has the payment information form, personal information form, initial nursing education form. summary of registration form, authorization to release information form and verification of course completion and transcript request form.

I want to know that after sending this initial package, will they send me another set of forms like B1 , B2 and all that. I see in this form about the B forms and do not really understand.

Please help me out with the step by step procedure to apply to CNO. It would be of great help. Thank you.

Nice to know that you got the second set of package from CNO. It shows u are moving further. How much time it took for the CNO to reply after u sent the first application package?

I am just going to start with my initial package to CNO. I am going to apply for RN straight away as I am working as RN since 5 years continuously till date and have 20 years experience as RN. Any advise and guidance is welcome please.

I sent mu inital application Nov 2010 and received an e-mail stating they had received it about 6 weeks later, I then received Feb 2011 a letter by snail mail with the B forms and request for further documentations and BET. I finally sent the BET and all documents begin May 2011 (20 years experience in different countries so it took awhile); They informed me mid May 2011 that they had received all my docs, BET and B forms from employers. Still waiting for result.

The problem is that they have some info and question examples on their official web-side, but this information is really scant.

HI Thanks for the good wishes, I'm hoping too to receive a positive reply soon. WE fly out to London Ontarion on 4 Sept 2011.

Once you send the initail assessment form they will contact you and advise you what you need to do. If they are happy with the training program you completed they may not sk for a BET.

BET is Baccalaureate nursing equivalency table - You have to write 7 essay type responses based on your nursing experience which demonstrate your maturity as a nurse -eg. ethics, conflict resolution, reserarch, they give you a coupe of examples. Also you sign a statement to prevent you sharing your answers with other applicants. It took me a while to get it on paper, but once you get started it is easy. I am not university trained so i think that is why I had to do it even thought I am dual qualified.

I didn't have to send IELTS as I trained in an english speaking country. I would send it with your application bit amaybe someone else can answer this.

I paid by credit card as that was the cheapest and easiest.

hello everyone... I'm a newbie in this forum but I've been reading your posts often.

I would like to add some idea based on my experience applying with the CNO. The result of the IELTS should be mailed directly by the institution where you had your English test as CNO will not accept result mailed by applicants. I understand there is payment for that but at least it's the right way to do it. CNO do accept both academic and general category.
