Olga did you get your eligibility letter yet?Olga64 said:Hi
Yes these were all my extra studies and courses I had done, plus awards I had received for official and for voluntary work.
I'm going to contact my POC to advise her that we got our PR visa and will be moving to Canada 4 September; I will ask if there was any way she might be able to say when I will get the assessment results, otherwise I will look for a job working in a pub or restaurant.
I have heard that it takes approximately 3 months after they receive all docs, so your should be soon.

i did. it took a year already. and still waiting for decision. i was asked to submit additional docs beforecp3isaIII said:hi I'm new here. I just want to ask if anyone here applied for assessment at SRNA (Saskatchewan RN Assoc)? how long did it take? I would really appreciate if anyone could share their experience. thanks!
thanks for the reply. I noticed we have almost the same timeline. the last time srna updated me was Aug this year and they are requesting additional documents from our local Prof regulatory agency. I haven't requested for status since then. I. wanted to know if others have a little bit faster assessment and what kind of decision they received e.g. advised to take addtl bridging course or approval to sit to CRNA already. I just hope we receive a favorable assessment...michaelantiola said:i did. it took a year already. and still waiting for decision. i was asked to submit additional docs before

I already finish this process. you are right about the filling of forms. but I did mention all of my nursing experince including beyond 5 years and asked them to fill and forward Verification of Employements form to CNO. this form has to be compleated with head of nursing division in that hospital and stamped with hospital itself. you sould approach the matron in the hospital.KRP said:My case is that I am a nurse by profession working for a govt hospital in Middle east. I did the landing procedures a few months back and came back giving the address of my relative in Canada and they have my PR cards now. While I was in Canada I went to Davenport and got my registration application in RN GENERAL category forwarded to CNO . After I came back to Middle east I send the Verification of Transcripts etc to my nursing college in India and they send it back to CNO.
Now last week I got a new set of forms. I am quite clear abt it but need to clear a few doubts. Now if someone who has gone thru this process can definitely help me I guess.
The question is on the A4 summary of employment u need to list all the employers with whom u worked and send this directly to CNO. Here I need to state that I am working since 98 as Rn and have worked for 4 employers till date. I will list all in this a4 form.
On the B4 FORM I have to give this to my employer to forward directly to CNO.
It is stated on their letter that u should provide the employers of the last 5 yrs.
So my current employer i am working since 2003 ( 8 YRS ) so is it ok if I just provide the verification of this employer and skip my 3 previous employers.
Please someone who has done this part kindly advice and also whom should I provide this form for filling out since i work in a govt hospital and planning to resign in June 2012 and leave for Canada permanently.
