Hi I'm currently getting ready for my ITA and was wondering if 2173 is the correct NOC code for me. Here are the details regarding me and my current job
Degree : Bachelor in Computer Engineering (from Canadian University)
English Test Results : CLB 9
Job Title: Intermediate QA Engineer
Duties:
- Working Directly within our engineering team to increase level of quality
- Review and create unit, integration, e2e, stress and performance tests
- Test, Troubleshoot, document and develop testing maintenance procedures for applications software
- Collect and document requirements and develop logical specifications for testing plans and outcomes
- Maintaining and updating current automation framework and test scripts
- Automated testing including scripting and coding
- Manual testing when needed
Currently I set it as 2173 as my role is similar to Software Engineer in Test as It requires me to do Automations , but I'm concerned that my role also fits on 2283
Any idea which NOC I should choose ?
