I applied for PR as protected person on March 4, 2026 .. just was checking my email and see one from my lawyer. There's an temporary number there Im going to call and ask him what to do with it later in the day.. anyone know what to do with it in mean time ?

No, you don’t need to do anything for now unless IRCC asks you for more documents or information.
the temporary application number usually means they received your PR application and it’s now waiting to be reviewed for completeness. once they check that everything is complete and nothing is missing, they will send you the official application number/AOR.

Ok thank you, is it my lawyer alone can see my portal ? I check pr portal only seeing still submitted

Yeah, if you applied through a lawyer, they usually receive updates and messages from IRCC too. don’t worry about the PR portal still showing “submitted,” that’s completely normal. It usually stays like that until you receive Portal 2, where they ask you to confirm your mailing address and upload your photo.
If you applied by yourself, then IRCC will send all updates and messages directly to you. once you receive your permanent application number/AOR, you should also be able to link your PR application to your GCKey account and track your application progress there.
