I haven't received any update or request for fingerprint or background check and everything on the tracker is still showing in-progress. Should I be worried ? My processing office is Sydney,NS. Many applicants with similar timeline has got fingerprint and background done.
Anyone with a March AOR still waiting for any movement on the application. My AOR is March 17, no update after that. Family of 3. Anyone in a similar situation. Sydney processing centre.
We got PR as OINP, does that affect processing times ?

I saw a couple of applicants who got AOR in middle of March 2026 updated with Test Invitation today on Google Sheet tracker!

Hi all,
Sorry for stealing the space but genuinely Need help. I have been trying to get answers but no one is replying.

Your help is highly appreciated

What date should I put end date as international student in physical presence calculator because I was on implied status for 4 months. My work permit came in december 2022
and I completed my studies in August 2022.

And what date I should put start of work permit ?

Thanks.

Hi can anyone plz tell me how to do this.

My spouse had a study permit 4 May 2017-10 Sept 2019. We applied for Home support worker program July 2019, got AOR for the application on 31 July 2019. This was a PR application along with work permit.

Now they took 3 years to issue the work permit which started 21 july 2022 and after completing the work experince required we became PR 8 June 2023.

During Sept 2019 till 21 July 2022 we were on implied status. When i resubmitted my citizenship applicatoin they returned the application saying " In our records, we cannot confirm your time before you became a PR. Please doubke check abd recalcuate the dates"

Can anyone here plz guide me whow to do the date calculation.
Thanks

This is hard to answer which is likely why you’re not getting responses. All permits have clear start and end dates which should be easy to track. If one permit expired while you were waiting for another and implied status was in place, this sounds like a perfect use case for notes. You could put your end date for the study permit as it’s outlined on the actual study permit and then start the work permit start date earlier (day after study permit expired) to show implied status. Or extend the study permit to the day before the other permit became active. Do you have proof of your implied status like your application date for the new permit starting while the other permit was still active? I can still see all of my old work permits in the same system as my PR. It’s hard to know what to do here since we’re not immigration attorneys, but it feels like with an explanation in the notes, this could work. Hope this helps a bit and good luck!

Is there a way to maintain study and work permit dates (actual start and expiry as per your permit document) and just add a separate entry for the time that you are on implied status, and keep it as "temporary resident" or "Other" if there's an option like that and use notes to properly explain that entry. This way, you are keeping the official start and end dates of your study and work permits, while still reflecting your temporary status on that gap period.
