my partner applied Feb 2024, received aor July 2024,
dependants received request to fill out forms, get police record & submit and do biometric Sept 2024
since then nothing else. for the record i got the DR2 request

They must be considered under pilot program but would say it is faster processing time not a year. The quota issue remains. Would personally look for others being processed under the same pilot program recently for a more realistic timeline.

question, are you from one of the countries that the 1yr pilot program applies to under the DR2 protected person?
Would suggest starting a new post asking about PR processing timelines for protected people under pilot program. Like all processing times with IRCC they are goals not necessarily reality.
PR target for protected people and their dependents is 20k. It does not specify if there is a quota specifically for pilot program participants. This is why processing times are vey long and going to get longer. You are actually quite lucky to have faster processing time even if it takes longer than a year vs many who are easily looking 3-5+ years.
I applied February 12,2025. I’m still waiting for my AOR. I don’t know why it’s taking so long.
Its normal. I’ve applied in 2023 May. It took more than 5 months. There is still no pr btw
