2025 JULY Citizenship applications

I never got a background check complete and my AOR is also September 16th.

Lets keep each other posted if we receive BG complete.

I am a 25 July applicant. I received AOR on Oct 3. I checked the tracker today first time and it shows BG completed on Oct 6.

Hey everyone. Is there anyone else from July applicants still waiting for Background check to be complete? AOR 16th Sep and still waiting for BG.

same here. sep 11 aor. no updates. Getting very skeptical with every passing day if our applications are marked as non routine.

do you have intensive travel history during citizenship time or anything else which you think might have triggered additional checks.

Just a few trips to US, not extensive travel during the last 4 years. I don't think our applications are marked as non-routine. People in our July group have actually had their BGs done very quickly. Ours is just taking the normal time. If you look at May or June applicants, even though some had their background checks cleared within days, most people still had to wait between 1 and 3 months to get their background checks completed. Ours might just take a month or so to clear BG. There is even a chance we may get test invite before BG is cleared.

Yeah, that's about what I am expecting which is why I am not in a panic or anything. I'm always looking at May and June applicants to see what to expect and you're right. I only took a few short trips to the US, Mexico and my longest trip being 3 weeks to the Philippines. I'm sure we will be fine.

My AOR is for Sep 8th and still didn't get any background check! should I be concerned about it or it's a normal procedure?

Aor: 15th sept, FP req: 17 th sept, yes i know it was weekend but still it showed in the tracker update was on 18th Oct.

That was fast for background complete. Can you please share if your wife travelled much abroad so we can see if that’s a factor maybe for longer wait times for rest of us still waiting on BG check?
