There are no new rules which affect us as protected person! IRCC announced new system for asylum claims today. That’s it
Since we submitted our applications, at least 2,000 new rules and policy changes have been introduced, including C12 and now the new asylum application forms, among others.
Maybe these changes don’t directly affect older applications, but the system is so slow and dysfunctional that every time a new law or policy is introduced, everything seems to come to a standstill until the new rules are implemented. It feels like the entire system gets stuck every time there’s a change.

Today my MP emailed me as you see everything here has delay… i got approved 19 oct it’s hilarious…

Hey guys I contacted a bunch of immigration lawyers regarding mandamus today. Most of them said I should file instead of waiting and doing nothing but I am not sure if they're looking at the money aspect of it or genuinely want a positive outcome for us! They say it may take up to 7-8 months to a year to complete and most cases get a response before even getting to the main court. I am so confused whether to apply for this or not. I've waited 35 months but also what harm would a bit more waiting do? I don't know this is genuinely a horrible situation to be in. Give me all your feedback!!
I just suggested wait until the end of the year because this month and next month many people would be get PR according to every year so after that if you didn’t get anything just apply for mandamus this is my opinion .
And before mandamus trying by : MP , webform , demanded letter after all mandamus
My lawyer told me the demanded letter it’s the first step of the mandamus so still I need to pay $6000

I feel that thy only need money
Most lawyers I talked to charge 2-3k. 6k is too much. Ask around for other lawyers.
