Completely understand your frustration. Unfortunately, processing times can vary significantly depending on individual cases, offices, and background checks. But that doesn’t make the lack of transparency any less frustrating. I would suggest contacting your local MP to request an inquiry with IRCC about the delay. You could also consult an immigration lawyer about whether a mandamus application is appropriate in your situation. A lawyer can assess whether the delay is unreasonable and explain the potential costs, risks, and benefits before you take any legal action. Hopefully, this helps get some clarity on your application.

I understand. Unfortunately, an MP inquiry doesn’t always lead to faster processing or provide much new information. However, it may still help confirm the current status of your updated application. If you’ve already tried that without any useful results, consulting an immigration lawyer about your options may be worth considering. I hope you receive a meaningful update soon.

38 months waiting for FD now i think more 3 years need for p1 email,
Anyone have any suggestions?? I did webform
Today it’s almost 2 weeks after FD!!!
Since you’ve already received your Final Decision (FD), hopefully, the next step will come soon. Portal 1 emails can take some time after the final decision, and there isn’t a guaranteed timeline.

Today, I received P2

Octubre 27, P1
Aplication 2023, August 2

I am the dependent wife of a principal applicant, a refugee, and I have been left stranded in the processing timeline.

My husband’s case was completed at 36 months, while mine was confirmed today, at 39 months.

The long wait seemed endless.
I was never able to stay informed about the FD because my husband had a representative.

I will return with the time of E Corp, I wish everyone the best of luck.
