Not really! Criminality has nothing to do with security. Mine is cleared for almost 2 years now
I’m not sure it was a threat; perhaps the officer was warning you about the potential difficulties of travelling before receiving your PR card. Hopefully, your PR will be finalized soon, and you won’t have to worry about these uncertainties anymore.
Hopefully, IRCC will move your application forward soon. Have you requested updated GCMS notes recently to see whether there has been any progress behind the scenes? Wishing you good news soon!

What difficulties? I travelled over 5 times already with my RTD without any issue. They just love to make everything complicated for us
No, most people say they can do nothing other than asking about the status of my application.
There are many people who received P1 after month as well before in july and august so but 3 months is way too much.

I received pre arrival 15 months ago, but after that nothing, now after waiting from last two months 1 month left, new update 2 more months frustrated

Travelling without ur PR card can create complications when returning to Canada on a commercial flight, depending on your travel document and circumstances. It doesn’t mean you cannot travel, or that you will necessarily have problems.
