2023 PR Applications Timeline (Protected Persons & Refugees)

Three individuals told me this. Other than these three people, I don’t know anyone who submitted their PR application by paper, and all three of them received P2 after waiting 2 or 3 months.

After waiting for 3 years, having to wait an additional few months for P2 feels so unfair.

I think that happened before, months ago when it was working slower. Now they are working faster. Backlog is reducing.
If you compare months ago, took 2 months to receive the PR card, for me it was 45 days. Recently is taking 2-3 weeks.
Keep the hope alive. You already waited the longer, now is few days more.

Yes, countries attended by Mexico office are part of the pilot and by the way, it really works, but you need to get PR first.
Then, they moved with dependandts but they did it fast in my case. Just send documents quickly , as soon as they request.
Good luck.

But mine says secondary office is Ottawa operation support center. I am also part of pilot project. No update .

I received a ghost update and called IRCC.. they said security is passed but info sharing is still in progress.. I thought security was the last step before P1.. has anyone been in the same situation.. if so how long until P1?

I received a ghost update and called IRCC.. they said security is passed but info sharing is still in progress.. I thought security was the last step before P1.. has anyone been in the same situation.. if so how long until P1?

Could you please tell me if it would be better to take my picture for P2 today, or should I wait? If there is a problem with the picture, London Drugs will accept it and fix it if it’s within 15 days.

Also, could you please guide me? When do you think I will receive P2?
