You will probably receive it earlier, the time is approximate, Its an excuse for the ones who haven’t received decisions like mine, I’m February 2023 applicant, security not yet done and waiting for decision. Although my friend who applied in March 2023 has received her COPR yesterday already. Many applicants have received decisions from Jan, Feb, March 2023 but the IRCC processing time system still counts those applications who have already been approved.
I have not received final decision yet, they said I am on the queue for finals. That was the agent words
No, Im Indian, but I lived in Australia for 5 years and visited US twice from there. So my security had to go through background checks from both the countries. Both the countries have already passed my security and its ready to review since November 2023, but its IRCC who hasn’t done their part yet. I received Eligibility and pre-arrival very late which was June 2025. Assuming that I will receive decision late. Had to be patient, thats all I can say. My file was pretty quick in the beginning but delayed later on. Everything looks fine from recent GCMS notes.
Hi! You mentioned that one of your friends was a March applicant and already received a final decision. Do you know when she applied? I’m asking because some updates here might be inaccurate, and hearing from someone you know personally would be helpful. Thanks!
She applied on March 10, 2023. Its trustworthy source. I know her since 2019.
Yes, Montreal on recent notes received last week, it was Etobicoke on my last notes from November 2024. Primary office Mississauga.
Thanks I think we have to wait a bit might take month or two or January but not 6 months m sure cuz we r next and I applied on 17th same situation like urs.
It’s standard I guess. Doesn’t say comprehensive anywhere, also it mentions Ready to Review. US and Canada share data automatically. But for Australia I provided background check. Both countries provided data within a month. I dont know how it works, I got my WP extension in april 2025. Background check was done the same day I received FD.
Background check for PR is different from WP. In general, the background check for Indians is much easier and faster than for most other nationalities, especially those from conflict or war zones. Don’t worry—you will get it soon; you are next in line.
