Thanks a lot. It’s been awfully quiet these past few weeks.
I think the website said it is about 37 days to get the card itself, so eCOPR should be somewhere around 3 weeks or so.
Hello everyone, I have a question about my application status. Online it shows March 14, 2023 as the received date, and for the other details everything still says "in progress." Do you think this is normal? Because by now at least the background check should have been completed, right?
Request your notes. Portal never show the reality. Never updated.
I requested the note since June 11th still haven't received any correspondence
I have already done that. Two weeks later, I received an email confirming that my request is still in progress and acknowledging that it is past the processing time. I got the last one in less than 30 days

Why does IRCC make people wait so long after giving them protection status?
The long delays are destroying people’s mental health. Depression, anxiety, and stress are becoming normal for those stuck in this endless process.
If someone has already been granted protection status, why does it still take so many years for them to get PR?
Today at the clinic, I met a man who has been in Canada for 6 years. He applied for PR 3 years ago, and he’s still waiting. His wife and kids are back home, and the separation is taking a huge toll on him. He came to the walk-in clinic just to get a doctor’s note to submit to IRCC in hopes of expediting his case, because he’s struggling with depression.
It feels unfair and inhumane. People who are already recognized as needing protection should not be left in limbo for half a decade or more. The wait destroys families, careers, and mental health.
Has anyone else here been through the same kind of wait? Did you try to expedite your PR due to health or family reasons, and did it actually work?

I received a messaged from there asking if I was in Canada I said yes and sent my information like name address and nothing happen after. is not saying APPROVED YET.
