I received my Final Decision Last July 14 and no P1 yet. Is this normal ?

For those who received P1 is your office is Etobicoke or no ?

This step used to be quick, it only took 4 or 5 days, and now they're delaying it and nobody knows why.

Does anyone know why they ask for passport photocopies from dependents if they're here in Canada and have been here for almost three years? And why do they ask for marriage certificates so many times? What do they do with the documents that have already been sent because of all the requests? ‍ We're from August 2023.

Not sure why. But in our case, they requested because my child's passport which has been with them for over 5 years was expired (what did they expect? ridiculous!). Whatever the case, I suggest you submit as soon as possible, because it's been about a month since we submitted a valid copy and still nothing from them.

yes i received letter today just they confirm we rcvd your outside dependant PCC and we don’t need your PCC..

Has anyone received any update after resubmitting pcc ? I was asked to submit pcc for myself as I lived overseas for few years and for my Outland spouse ,,, I submitted on June 19 and haven’t heard anything from them since two days earlier I got a reminder letter from the same .. what a ridiculous system ,,, does anyone know anything about this ?

Before they used to send final decision after one week or two week, one of my friend , she’s April 2023 December she got a email about the PCC and after she sent document , she got P1 after 10 days but now it’s looks different , they ask military 17 june and I submitted exactly 17 june and 18 june reply They received it ,
haven’t seen anyone who has received an update after submitting additional documents. Has anyone had a different experience?
I think no one gets P1 after additional documents till now because I checked every day and I didn't see anyone say after additional document they get p1 or final decision

Thank you for your response. In my case, I haven't renewed it, hoping they'll return my expired one. Why would I want a passport if I don't have residency yet? They have had my passport since 2018 !
